Chris Chambers has almost two decades of military, law enforcement and security experience in the local, federal, and corporate arena. Chris has been active in the maritime security arena for 18 years to include active and reserve duty in the U.S. Coast Guard where he has conducted numerous maritime security and law enforcement operations including counter-narcotic operations, illegal immigration operations, Presidential Security Details and Port, Waterways, & Coastal Security (PWCS) missions. Chris has worked in the utility industry since 2013 and serves as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) and Security and Emergency Management Manager.
Chris has earned his Certified Protection Professional (CPP®) designation which is considered the “gold standard” certification for security management professionals and demonstrates knowledge and competency in seven key domains of security. Chris has also attained his Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) designation through the Florida Attorney General’s office and he is a 2015 graduate of the Certified Port Executive Program. Chris is a participating member of the Tampa Bay Harbor Safety and Security Committee, the Area Maritime Security Committee (AMSC) where he serves as the FSO Sub-committee Chair, as well as the international and Florida West Coast Chapter 30 of the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS).
