Kathy deLisser is the General Manager for Ceres Terminals Canada responsible for the management of the Canada Place Cruise Terminal and stevedoring services for RoRo vessels in Vancouver, B.C. Ceres manages all aspects of the multi-user cruise terminal from stevedoring, security services, ground transportation and overall terminal operations. Canada Place is Canada’s largest cruise terminal with 3 berths with both Canada and US Border Clearance operations. In 2019, 289 sailings and 1.078 million passengers visited Canada Place. Kathy joined Ceres in 2018 bringing over 24 years of experience in tourism, hospitality and terminal management.
Prior to joining Ceres Terminals, she was the Regional Manager, Destinations and Guest Experience Centre for Rocky Mountaineer where she was responsible for the management of all ground and station operations, service partner relationships and the guest experience call centre for guests travelling on the luxury rail line in western Canada and Washington State.. From 2010 – 2015, she was the Assistant General Manager at BC Place responsible for all operations at Canadian’s largest stadium and developed the plan to reopen the stadium following an extensive renovation after the 2010 Olympics.
Previous to that, Kathy spent 16 years with the Vancouver Airport Authority in multiple roles predominantly in airport operations and customer service leading up to her role as the Director, Planning Olympic and Paralympic Games. In the lead up to the Games she was responsible for negotiating a sponsorship agreement with the Organizing committee making Vancouver the first Airport ever as an official sponsor of any Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Kathy is a graduate of Simon Fraser University with a BA and holds a UBC Sauder School of Business Executive Education Certificate.
